Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Confetti Albums ("Confetti," "we," "us"), operated by Feld Labs. By signing in or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Confetti helps you organize photos and create albums. Your photos remain in your own cloud storage (e.g., Google Drive); we provide the organizing layer, tagging, face grouping, and album building.

2. Accounts & sign-in

You sign in through a third-party identity provider (currently Google). You're responsible for your account and the activity under it. We never store your password.

3. Your content & ownership

• You own your photos. We claim no ownership of your content.
• Limited license. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to access, process, and display your selected photos solely to provide the service to you (e.g., generate thumbnails, detect/group faces, build and save albums). We don't use your photos to train general models, for advertising, or for any purpose beyond running the features you use.
• This license ends when you remove the content or close your account, except for backups/logs retained briefly as required by law or for security.

4. Your responsibilities, rights & consent

• You represent that you have the rights to the photos you connect and the right to share them with anyone you invite.
• Face/biometric features: you're responsible for obtaining any consents required to process the faces of people in your photos under applicable law (e.g., biometric-privacy laws). Face recognition is opt-in.
• Photographers: when you share an event/gallery with clients, you confirm you have the right to do so and to enable the features you select for that event.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Confetti to upload unlawful content, infringe others' rights, attempt to breach security, or process images of people without the necessary rights/consents. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Plans, payments & credits

• Paid plans, per-event fees, and AI credits are billed via Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout.
• AI credits are consumed when you generate an AI-built album (1 credit = 1 AI-built album). Credits are not redeemable for cash and may expire as stated at purchase.
• Purchases are one-time. Photo-scan and AI-album credits are added to your account balance and can be used across any of your events. There is no subscription. Refunds are handled per the policy shown at purchase and applicable law.

7. AI features, "as is"

Face recognition and album suggestions are automated and imperfect; they may mis-group or miss people. Review results before relying on them. The features are provided without warranty of accuracy.

8. Service changes & availability

We may modify or discontinue features and aim for reliable uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

9. Termination

You may stop using Confetti and delete your account at any time; your photos remain in your own storage. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or legal reasons.

10. Disclaimers & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is," and our liability is limited as set out here. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of content you didn't keep your own copy of.

11. Changes, governing law & contact

We'll post updates here; continued use means acceptance, and material changes may require re-acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the exclusive venue for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in Texas.
