How to build a wedding album with the Intelligent builder

In short: pick the pool of photos, generate the album (this uses one AI credit), then refine it for free by swapping and reshuffling photos, and confirm when you're happy to unlock the download. See Standard vs. Intelligent albums for how this builder differs from the free Standard one.

The situation

You've tagged your photos, maybe culled the shoot down to a shortlist, and now you want one polished, share-ready album without ordering hundreds of photos by hand. That's what the Intelligent builder is for.

What you need first

Step 1: Choose your pool of photos

Pick the photos the Intelligent builder should draw from: an entire event, a tag, or a specific person or group of people. A larger pool gives the builder more to work with for pacing and structure.

Step 2: Generate the album

Start the Intelligent builder on that pool. This step runs an AI pass that arranges the photos into a narrative structure, paced by moment and significance rather than strict timestamp order, closer to chapters than a flat chronological dump. Generating consumes one AI credit.

Step 3: Review the draft

The result is a draft album, not a final one. Read through the pacing: does the ceremony, reception, and the quiet in-between moments land where you'd want them.

Step 4: Refine for free

Swap out a photo, reshuffle the order, or remove one you don't want. Refining a generated album, replacing or reshuffling its photos, is free and unlimited. You only spend another credit if you start a brand-new generation from scratch on a different pool.

Step 5: Confirm to unlock the download

Once you're happy with the album, confirm it. Confirming is what unlocks the download; there's no export before you confirm. This is deliberate: it keeps the credit tied to the generation step while giving you unlimited free passes to get the album right before you commit.

Step 6: Download and share

Download the finished album to your own computer, then share it by link with the people who were there. Confetti doesn't save the album back to your Drive; the download is the deliverable.

What the Intelligent builder does NOT do

It doesn't touch your Drive at any point, generating, refining, and confirming all happen inside Confetti's organizing layer, never writing to your photo library. It also doesn't charge a credit for refining: only the initial generation of a new album uses one.

The result

A single, paced, share-ready album, built from a pool you chose, refined for free until it was right, and downloaded to your own computer the moment you confirmed it.
