How does Confetti pricing work?
Usage-based, paid once per event, no subscription. You connect your Drive folder, scan your photos, and pay for what that scan actually covers, there's no recurring charge and nothing to cancel afterward. There's no separate "photographer" price and "consumer" price either, everyone pays the same usage-based rates.
What am I actually paying for?
Mainly the face scan. Scanning is priced per photo on a sliding scale, the rate per photo drops as your photo count goes up, so a small event and a large one both pay a fair rate for their size instead of a flat per-photo cost that never improves. Everything you build afterward with the Standard builder is free and unlimited. AI albums are a separate add-on, priced in volume tiers.
What's free, before I pay anything?
Two things. Viewing a shared album is always free, no purchase required, whether you get in by an email invite or a temporary link. And on your own event, you can preview how face grouping looks on your first 10 photos before deciding to scan the rest, so you're not paying to find out if the tagging is any good.
What does "unlimited Standard albums" mean?

How does AI album pricing work?
AI albums come in volume tiers: the more you buy at once, the cheaper each one works out to. Generating an AI album uses one from your balance; refining it afterward, replacing photos, reshuffling the order, is free; you download or share it once you confirm the version you want. Are there packages, or do I build my own?
Both. Confetti has pre-set packages sized around common event scales, and an à la carte builder if you'd rather pick your own scan size and AI album tier independently. The pricing page has a live calculator so you can see the cost for your exact photo count either way.
What happens if my event has more photos than I expected?
Since the scan is priced per photo, more photos simply means a bit more at the sliding-scale rate, not a jump to a different flat tier. If a folder turns out bigger than planned, you're not locked into an estimate, the final cost follows the actual photo count you scan.
Does a bigger event mean Confetti keeps more of my photos?
No. Every event works the same way behind the scenes, Confetti reads your connected Drive folder read-only and never takes a copy of your photo library, regardless of size or how much you spend.
